Dr. Afrodita Shalja-Plavjanska
Dr. Shalja-Plavjanska was appointed UNFPA Head of Office in 2019. She is a medical doctor and brings over 15 years of experience in managing USAID programs. Since 2013, she has managed UNFPA programs on sexual and reproductive health and youth in North Macedonia. Dr. Shalja-Pravjanska is fluent in English, Albanian, Turkish and Macedonian.
