Skopje, November/December 2023 - Youth Educational Forum (YEF) with the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in North Macedonia, under the regional project "Youth for Inclusion, Equality, and Trust," conducted a series of local youth workshops targeting young individuals aged 15 to 30, in several municipalities across North Macedonia, during November and December 2023.
A total of 13 workshops were held in Debar, Prilep, Bitola, Tetovo, Struga, Gostivar, Skopje, Delchevo, and Veles I Negotino. The workshops were conducted in 10 different municipalities across the country during the second half of November 2023 and one workshop was held at the beginning of December 2023. The call for participants gathered 285 interested applicants, while the workshops collectively engaged a remarkable total of 265 young individuals.
Covering a spectrum of topics, these workshops not only offered valuable insights and practical skills but also aimed to cultivate inclusivity, equality, and trust within the participating communities. By addressing themes such as cultural understanding, intercultural dialogue, youth activism, and identity exploration, the workshops significantly contributed to the overarching objective of fostering positive change through active youth engagement. The unwavering commitment and enthusiasm displayed by participants underscored a collective eagerness to make meaningful contributions to societal development.
