Geneva, October 26, 2022 – Improving the use of administrative data for migration statistics and the use of new data sources for measuring migration statistics are the main topics discussed today in Geneva by representatives of national statistical institutions from 13 countries, among which the State Statistics Office, with support of the UNFPA Office in North Macedonia.

This meeting of a group of migration statistics experts will serve as a platform for statistical institutions to exchange experiences and to increase knowledge related to the collection, production and dissemination of migration statistics.

 

The event is organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), participated by representatives of national statistical institutions of the Republic of North Macedonia, USA, England, Poland, Kyrgyzstan, Albania, Luxembourg, Italy, Azerbaijan, Norway, Lithuania, Russia and Sweden.
